This September marks the exciting kick-off of the 2027 AI Literacy and Inclusive Robotics Schools Programme, a collaborative effort aimed at transforming digital education across Kenya. By bringing structured robotics and AI training into schools, this initiative seeks to bridge the digital divide and equip the next generation of innovators with future-ready skills. With a commitment to inclusivity at its core, the programme ensures that learners with disabilities are active participants, providing them with equal opportunities to explore coding, robotics, and AI technologies.

The programme's reach is national. All counties across Kenya will be represented. There are a total of 60 select schools, encompassing both junior and senior levels to create a sustained pipeline of tech talent. By integrating hands-on learning, such as Code Clubs and real-world project development, the programme empowers students to move beyond theory and gain practical experience in an increasingly AI-driven world. 

As these 60 schools embark on this journey this September, they are set to become hubs of creativity and innovation, ensuring that every learner has the chance to thrive.
